L'artiste Christine O'Loughlin propose une série d'aménagements concernant la place des Terres Blanches afin de donner à ce lieu une forte identité.
"J'ai voulu avant tout unifier l'alignement anonyme des fenêtres en un cercle/cirque et renforcer cette unité en suggérant un chapiteau qui le recouvre. Au centre s'élève un mât, au sommet duquel est placée une girouette figurant un funambule en silhouette de 2,5 m de haut. Le funambule surplombant un labyrinthe renvoie bien sûr à de nombreuses références et en particulier à la mythologie ancienne". Il joue aussi un rôle comme "point focal aérien pour les rues environnantes".

Artist Christine O'Loughlin has made over the Place des Terres Blanches in order to endow the area with a strong identity.
“Above all, I wanted to unify the anonymous way in which the windows were aligned by forming a circle/circus, and then strengthening this unity by suggesting a big top overhead. In the centre, a tall pole is crowned by a weather vane with a silhouette of a tight-rope walker 2.5 metres high. A tight-rope walker above a labyrinth refers of course to many things and especially to ancient mythology.” It also acts as an “aerial focus for the neighbouring streets”.

Die Künstlerin Christine O’Loughlin schlägt eine Reihe von Gestaltungen für den Platz in Terres Blanches vor, um diesem Ort eine starke Identität zu verleihen.
„Vor allem wollte ich die anonymen Aneinanderreihungen der Fenster in einem Kreis/Zirkel vereinen und diese Einheit durch einen Aufsatz verstärken, der ihn bedeckt. Im Zentrum erstreckt sich ein Mast, auf dessen Wipfel eine Fahne platziert ist, die die Silhouette von 2,5 Meter Höhe eines Seiltänzers verkörpern soll. Der Seiltänzer überragt ein Labyrinth und erinnert selbstverständlich an zahlreiche Referenzen und insbesondere an die alte Mythologie.“ Seine Rolle ist es auch, die Luftlinien der Straßen der Umgebung zusammen zu führen.
