The piece, a paved carpet that links the sides of the square, weaves into the urban network, and spreads out over ca. 3000 square metres follows a black and white lace-like pattern. Topping this motif of plant like patterns, a tree is centred in the middle of the roundabout. Pedestrians cross the square, as do cars and even trains, as the rails also cross the site. It is made of natural stone, black basalt, and white granite, which are common materials used in roads.
