Claude Lévêque, drawn as always by unusual sites, has chosen a 1930s stone building belonging to the Vanne aqueduct in the Parc Montsouris, between the two halves of the Cité Universitaire campus, to install his artwork. His artwork crowns the building with a sort of diadem of highly polished stainless steel panels, treated to ressemble water, thus evoking the building’s original purpose. The way the panels reflect light depends on the movements of the tram, passers-by, and the clouds.
