Photo : 1 2 In an octagonal pavilion, resembling a greenhouse or an aviary, two green glass sculptures are suspended. On closer inspection, they become oversized the human eyes. The octagon is a figure from Baroque architecture. The architectural shell appears to protect these fragile sculptures symbolizing the soul of the park. The eyes, the mirrors of the soul, reveal a human presence. According to the metaphor of the evangelist Matthew: "The eye is the light of the body." |
