As Host City for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Vancouver has initiated an ambitious Public Art Program. The $5.95 million program includes more than 20 commissioned public art projects. The diverse projects range from grand light-based works and sculptural installations at iconic landmarks, to celebratory works in the heart of Vancouver’s communities.
